Types of Impotence

One should remember that impotence could be treated correct treatments. Different men suffer with different types of impotence and there will be different types of treatments. Some of the common types of impotence in men are
Venogenic. Impotence occurs when there is leakage of blood in man’s veins, which prevents erection. In some men, this type of impotence can be from birth and will never have erection in their adulthood. In some cases, it can be seen after many years of having normal sexual life.
Neurogenic. The nerve supply to the man’s penis are made up of delicate tissues and many times these nerve tissues can be damages due to back injuries, pelvic or pernial trauma, leading to impotence.
Diabetic. More than 50% of the men who had diabetes may experience impotence. So men who have diabetes should visit the doctor regular and show prescribed medications and diet.
Psychogenic. This type of impotence occurs when the man fails to have erection due to psychological factors.
Hormonal. This type of impotence occurs when there is imbalance in testosterone and estrogen in the man’s blood. Due to this imbalance, 5% of the man has impotence.
Arteriogenic. This type of impotence occurs when arteries fails to supply enough blood to the penis. This is most commonly seen in elders, people suffering from diabetes or high blood pressure. This is even more common for bicycle riders.
